To think that we aren't just going "to the Moon," but rather traveling to meet it at an exact point in space... changes everything.
It all comes down to orbital mechanics: arriving at the precise location, at the precise moment.
One tiny error... and it simply doesn't happen
AWAY FAN OF THE GAME! ⭐️😻
Today’s fan of the game is another familiar face & WBB alum, Shambrica (Jones) Scott (‘04)!!! She now lives here in Morgantown & came back for round two to cheer on the Cats in Hope Coliseum!
#BlueGetsIn 💙
Public officials saying no one saw snow coming this morning are 100% wrong. I specifically said on WKYT and via social media that snow would impact this morning's commute causing delays and cancellations.

RESCHEDULED GAME 🚨
Our home game against Georgia has been moved one day earlier to tomorrow, Saturday, Jan. 24, at 1 p.m. ET inside Historic Memorial Coliseum because of the expected winter storm.

We're running a special shuttle between Historic Memorial Coliseum and @rupp_arena for fans going to the @KentuckyVB Elite Eight Match and @KentuckyMBB game Saturday.
The kids were extremely sad this afternoon when we told them @JoeyB has to have surgery on his toe. They wanted to send along well wishes! They were even concerned all of his teammates @Bengals would be sad too! 🧡🖤
BE A HERO: For those of you that really pay attention to weather, and watch it daily, you can really help us on days like this. If you a weather dweeb, geek, nerd, dork, or weenie... thanks in advance for your service.
*A quick check of the social media inbox this morning shows over 1,000 messages from people wanting individual briefings, or with questions. Needless to say I can't respond to all of them; my attention has to be on getting critical information out to the masses, not one person at a time. If you see someone asking questions in the comment section of a post, you can help us by providing an answer (if you know the answer).
*Many struggle with map skills and geography; with turn by turn directions offered by phones you just don't deal with maps on a daily basis these days. For those that are asking questions about their specific location, please don't be condescending, but consider answering their question to help them.
*Some are not good at reading due to dyslexia or other issues; you can help those folks as well by answering their questions, even if the answer is clearly stated in the post.
*Many don't pay attention to weather, which is very understandable. We are all very busy. Let your friends know that we have a dangerous situation over the next 36 hours. And, if they are in a tornado warning polygon, call or text them to let them know.
It takes all of us working together to get through a high end severe weather threat like this. Thanks in advance for your help!
A heartwarming moment at Clinton County High School Friday night. Coach Todd Messer started CCHS student, Maddie Smith. She scored on her first shot!!!! @vaughtsviews@KySportsStyle@KySportsRadio
On this day in 2003, Florida invades Lexington ranked No. 1 in the country and winners of 14 straight games.
But No. 7 Kentucky toys with the top-ranked Gators, leading by as many as 29 in the second half before settling for a 70-55 win in front of one of the most raucous crowds in Rupp Arena history.
