With regards to the 'DOGE Dividends,' I am hearing rumblings that those who make less than $40,000 won't get them because they 'don't pay net taxes.'

Personally, whether or not we 'pay net taxes' should be determined solely by our filed tax returns, and as someone who does make less than $40,000, I can assure that I most certainly do pay taxes.

It should also be noted that not every low income person gets a huge refund. If you are single and have no possible deductions, often you get nothing back.
