Pickens Elementary has been awarded the Palmetto Silver Award for High Performance by the state — honoring our results in Student Achievement and Student Growth. This recognition is a true testament to the dedication and hard work of our wonderful teachers. #pushingforexcellence

Had a great time in Greenville with the girls today!

[Shannon Lawton @SLawton19]

EG had the best time with this interview. Lt. Governor Evette was incredibly nice. This internship has been an awesome experience.

Just a bunch of @WesleyanFB97 Wolves looking to get better over lunchtime. We had so many turn up to watch film we had to sit them in the floor. @WesleyanWolves

I’m proud of how AB played in this game. She got a hit, scored a run, played LF, and played 1st base (which she has not done in years). I’m glad she got this opportunity!

[Ava Belle Lawton @ABLawton33]

Representing Pickens High School in the North South All-Star game was a great honor. I really enjoyed playing with such great players, especially my @EliteSCLewis16 teammate Madi Zayas.

[Shannon Lawton @SLawton19]

I’m proud of Ava Belle and all of the hard work she has put in to getting here. She has been blessed with some great coaches and teammates these past few years!

It’s an honor to be named as an All Region player and to the North/South All Star Game.

[Shannon Lawton @SLawton19]

@MCDSeigler @RileyGreenMusic In honor of her being brave enough to ask, give everyone the night off from homework!

[Ava Belle Lawton @ABLawton33]

Exciting region win! I hit one out with my new bat.

We won the Walhalla Razorback Tournament. Go Blue Flame!

The number of coaches this year that have told me they're going to get a player out of the portal is insane. If all of you chase transfer QB's, or whatever position, then in 2-3 years, the entire talent pool is going to dry up. #Recruit high school players. #NCAA #recruiting

This is important! 🙌

Another win for the @WesleyanFB97 Wolves last night in the #GHSA playoffs. These young men were down in the first half, but stormed back in the second to stay together as a #family. Getting to coach over #Thanksgiving is one of my favorite yearly traditions. #Thanksgivingfootball

[Shannon Lawton @SLawton19]

I am so happy for you!

[Ava Belle Lawton @ABLawton33]

Today was the best day. I am thankful that God has opened the door for me to play at Converse next year. I am also very thankful for the coaches and teammates that helped me get here! @ValkyriesSB @EliteSCLewis16 @BlueFlameSB

I had a great time with my team @EliteSCLewis16 yesterday. I was 4 for 5 at the plate with 1 triple, 3 singles, 2 walks, 2 RBIs, and 5 runs. I’ll be back on the field Sept. 14-15 at Tyger River. @CoachJackieHuff @tbullard71 @ValkyriesSB @NGUSoftball_ @newberrysb @Lander_Softball

[Ava Belle Lawton @ABLawton33]
