I’d like to talk to whoever decided the school day should be nearly as long as an adult workday, with a lunch break, no other breaks, and then send home with more work.

It’s almost as if we’re training kids to be good little workers, with no boundaries. 😐

If your coach holds everyone accountable, you are VERY fortunate. A lot of coaches allow some players to do whatever they want, whenever they want with absolutely no consequence. Discipline, responsibility & accountability are life prep! If your coach cares that much, respect it!

Studying for a test? That’s fine.
Reading for fun? That’s imperative.
Making up a missed concept? Okay.

But I don’t assign NEW work that MUST be completed at home. These are kids.
