@taoneal Everyone in the building has to be 100% bought in for it to be effective. If one piece of the puzzle isn’t in place, the whole thing can fall apart.(Former MTSS Specialist).
@hilarym99 The length of the school day is increased. By adding an hour to an hour and a half to each day you can have almost the same amount of instructional time.

@FixingEducation I sure as heck didn’t sign up for having ICE raids in my classroom which is a very strong possibility with the new Executive Orders handed down.
@DogIsWagged@Michele70741546@SenSchumer My reply was geared towards the fact that everyone keeps saying teachers don’t pay into SS. They clearly do in many states.
Also, the law won’t allow those who didn’t pay to draw so that’s a moot point.
@DogIsWagged@Michele70741546@SenSchumer I was required by the state to pay into SS and a retirement program—literally given no choice. Why should I not be allowed to draw both?
@michaeldf88@1961MLB@DarrellBrockJr@SenSchumer Well, if educators aren’t paying into SS, I’d love a refund of what I’ve been paying for over 15 years. See the screenshot from a recent paystub.
@DarrellBrockJr@SenSchumer I’ve been required to pay into SS as well as state mandated teacher retirement my entire teaching career. So, why should I not be allowed to draw both of those funds on retirement?
@Schrute_Farms9@OuizerTeacher@unicornhomies It takes forever to find information that is all on the same page in PS. Info is buried in multiple menus, behind many clicks, and often in the oddest places. It’s just not user friendly.
