@BBCWYS Biggest concern is the first half of every game this season (including Rochdale) has been really poor! That can’t continue… just look what Blackpool did to Peterborough in first 20 minutes!! We’ve given teams far too may chances (they haven’t taken!)

@TonyBugby @EFL @crawleytown @officiallydale Saw him twice last season - abysmal and totally out of his depth in both. Cut from the same cloth as his father who is the benchmark for awful referees. Plenty who shouldn’t be anywhere near professional football, but he and Robert Massey-Ellis are right at the top of the list!!

@KeithWildman He was marked but very cleverly gave a little nudge to the defender and stepped back to create enough space to be unchallenged. Great play, great delivery… love it!!! 👍

@JamieRaynor @mbows23 (in Montenegro) every wrong - and deeply concerning - about quality of refereeing in this country is that Tony Harrington has been a Select Group 1 Ref since 2021, with over 40 Premier League games! Any we then see him able to get basic decisions correct 🤯

@BBCWYS (in Montenegro) Open in first 20 mins, but total dominance from there… better balls into box (away from keeper), city should have the quality. Bobby for Swann was my only issue with the starting 11, and that’s the quality that’s been missing. Pboro almost as poor as ref!

@TomLees02 Only concern for me is that any replacement will be late 20s/into 30s. Metcalfe have really had to fight to break through Alexander’s anti-youth policy. Pretty sure it was Moyes influence the GA was willing to give him a chance! Expect signings 28++

@BBCWYS (in Montenegro) gutted but enormously proud of what we’ve achieved - just didn’t do enough over the last 2 games to get over the line. Bolton’s 2 shots on target over both games and both resulting in goals shows how far we’ve come. We’ll be stronger for it, and go again!

@BBCWYS (in Montenegro) not like city to limp to the line. Totally deserved point & dominant performance - an appallingly bad ref who was clueless & out of his depth (3 times he blocked Metcalfe in edge of box!) but City overcame him & Plymouth’s antics to get least we deserved.

@JamieRaynor @BBCSounds @BBCWYS (in Montenegro) is Wheatley a CF? From game time so far, not for me! He’s another wide attacking player who GA is doing a ‘Humphrys’ with by insisting he’s a striker - willing runner who’ll cause defenders problems but (while raw) isn’t the number 9 we need & Mullin/Cook are!

For 88 minutes it was an average City performance at best (although 100% better than usually served up away), against incredibly poor team who stepped up to average themselves for the last 5 minutes! He said the same about building after Bolton, and certainly hasn’t!!!

@BBCWYS @Hudsonweather Couldn’t agree more - GA should be ashamed having made so many changes against Mansfield and clearly learnt nothing by doing exactly the same at Wimbledon. What happened to going into every game and wanting to win, and being focused on the next game… clearly not the case! 🤬

@BBCWYS What complete nonsense… in the next breath he’ll be saying they take each game as it comes, and don’t look beyond winning the next game. Achieved a lot, but the issues with setting up away us in him (and has been an issue for 2 years!!!) clearly something wrong with his mindset!
