YA Fantasy Author @EvernightTeen. Editor, Reviewer. #WriteMentor. I write about reckless girls in broken worlds with gifts that will be the death of them.
I took my book on a woodland walk in the Forest of Dean to help it get out and about. πΏππ°

@ashley__thorpe @jhalakprize@Usborne Congratulations on the book deal! I always remembered your short story about the animals on the arc back in the writing club. Can't wait to read your book!
Just so you know, I can be found under the name ScookieReviews. π§΅
I'm following authors and readers, not agents or publishers, and it's sooooo much better. I'm actually posting and interacting, too. π
@WordsofRABlack I appreciate hearing this. I personally think querying has to be the worst bit. It's where you're completely alone with no sense that it will ever change. I understand that being on sub isn't easy, but I can't imagine anything worse than querying.
As a reviewer, I'm always on the lookout for YA fantasy books from small presses or self published authors. Also looking to make videos again! If you have any recommendations, even if it's your own, please post a link below.

Potions, charms, spells - 16yo Merri doesn't have magic and can't function in society. Teaming up with a failed rebel, the pair harness their flaws to take down the system before Merri is sacrifed to power the very thing she doesn't have: bloody magic. #KidLitPit#ya#f#mh#lgbt
@KyraMNelson This is exactly how I feel. If you're looking for another critique partner who has queried countless books over the years, who has helped others get agents and publishers, I'd love to see if we can help each other out.
I now dread querying because it's when a project dies.
If anyone wants to be critique partners for a YA fantasy about a bunch of misfits accidentally destroying a magic-punk world, then please get in touch!
