@BarstoolChief No, if any of these rumors are substantiated, he's developed his brand into a no fly zone. To interested in himself. Will never share the limelight with teammates. I don't care how good he is.
@RizNHL You know he has to agree to an offer sheet prior to the offer sheet being presented. The most it can be is around 20.5 mil. The Hawks can actually afford that number.
@MarkLazerus 3 pieces for those 2 was a lot. No FA agents are picking CBH because of the tank and lack of cap spending the last 3 years. He can only add NHL caliber by trade. Byram was a #4 pick in 2019. He's at least a Cup winner.
@The1Tab The front office can't support any more futures that are half misses and or projects. Had to do something. Not a fan of 3 pieces given for those two, but, Rome wasn't built in a day.
@BarstoolChief The organization systematically tanked. They exited the free agent space, didn't spend cap money, and off loaded legitimate NHL talent. You can't recover until ๐ฏ of the front office turns over.
@BenPopeCST Pay him 11.5 mil times whatever he wants. Unfortunately, the last 4 years are average for a Number 1 pick. He's awesome, but #'s aren't helping his brand. The team roster construction and abject waste of cap $$ of is killing his NHL player comps .
@icing_the_puck Not one of the last 9 cup winner rosters relied solely on organizational development. Maybe 3-4 home grown guys per team. It's all front office roster construction. The recent Hawk Front Office has been an abject failure at that skill.
@thescorechicago@DavidHaugh 131-229-50 worst record since 2021-2022 in the league. Lowest incurred salary outlays since 2021-2022 offer including 12-15 million in retentions just to hit minimums. 5th in attendance. They have zero interest in improvement.
@cookieflash@NHLRumourReport Why would anyone give Detroit anything equivalent since their position is so compromised? He's solid but not a top tier player.
