If you can, share these images of the beautiful soul stolen from us by the worst of humanity.
Let his face today burn bright.

In this photograph, a single poppy stands in a field in Calvados, Normandy, bathed in the soft light of the evening sun.
They were, and remain, the Greatest Generation.
We will remember them.
After weeks' spent focusing on judges getting it wrong in their sentencing remarks, here is Mr Justice Bright with a moving tribute to a victim.
In fact, he refuses to use that word, or complainant or survivor, saying they're 'demeaning'.
He instead refers to her as the 'hero'.
๐ฅบ๐ A full-circle moment for this young Manchester City fan:
โข Back in 2016, a 7-year-old Manchester City fan named Braydon found himself sharing a taxi with Pep Guardiola on the Spaniard's first days at the club
โข During the ride, Braydon looked at Pep and confidently said: "You're going to win everything with City!"
โข Pep's response was simple: "We'll try."
โข 10 years later, Braydon is now 17 and working as a journalist. At Pep's farewell, he got one last photo with the manager who defined an era.
From Pep's first day to his last, Braydon's prediction proved to be spot on: Premier League titles. FA Cups. Champions League, and many more! ๐
On this day 41 years ago, 54 Bradford City supporters and two Lincoln City supporters went to a football match and never returned home.
We will never forget those who sadly lost their lives, and as always, our thoughts are with their families and the hundreds still affected by the disaster to this day.
Always in our hearts. ๐๏ธ

On VE Day, we commemorate the end of the war in Europe and the incredible work carried out in secret at Bletchley Park.
If you could ask a Bletchley Park codebreaker one question about their wartime experience, what would it be?
Pictured: A photograph of a group of WAAF (Women's Auxiliary Air Force) personnel from Bletchley Park who travelled to Trafalgar Square on VE Day to celebrate. On VE Day, many Veterans and civilians travelled to London to celebrate the end of the war in Europe, in addition to the celebrations nationwide.

An iconic image concludes an historic visit by Their Majesties to New York City.

Today, Their Majesties continue their State Visit in Virginia.

โSometimes the smallest things take up the most room in your heart.โ โ A. A. Milne
As we mark the 100th anniversary of the beloved Winnie-the-Pooh stories, The Queen has presented a very special gift to the New York Public Library, reuniting baby Roo with his friends from the 100 Acre Wood.
The Library is home to the original collection of toys owned by Christopher Robin Milne, son of A.A. Milne, which inspired the characters in the beloved Winnie-the-Pooh series. The collection is missing Roo, the baby kangaroo who was lost in an orchard in the 1930s.
The new addition of Roo was created by Shropshire-based company Merrythought, who also created the original toys.

This moving video highlights the saddening prevalence of domestic violence cases addressed in tonightโs Coronation Street, where we see Todd Grimshaw (Gareth Pierce) finally harnessing the strength to report partner Theo Silverton (James Cartwright) to the police.
The actors featured, who play both well known Coronation Street characters and guest artists, are all seen either dressed in an item of purple clothing or featuring a purple accessory, as part of a collaboration with the showโs design team. Purple is the colour used globally to represent domestic violence awareness. Seen as a symbol of peace, courage, survival, and dedication to ending abuse.

Your whole life you hear about the shoulders of giants.
Then one day you wake up and find you're the shoulders. Four broad new sets of shoulders just orbited the Moon.
Imagine how many more will stand upon them.
