Since when did terrorists become bold enough to dictate operational terms to the Armed Forces of the Federal Republic of Nigeria?
Since when did criminals begin issuing conditions to a sovereign state, and the state repeats those conditions publicly?

If this is truly where we are, then it is an indictment of everything our security architecture claims to represent.

Today, we are asking uncomfortable questions. If terrorists can negotiate, threaten, and seemingly influence military decisions, then what exactly is happening behind the scenes?

A government’s first responsibility is to protect its citizens.
