@jeff_gluck It is like traditional golf & YouTube golf. The traditional side of the sport looks down on the newer medium. But the newer medium is growing interest in the sport. Traditional NASCAR looks down on the effort & what Cletus is doing.
@ProFootballTalk It's coming, but not due to the weather or game quality. Someone or a network will come to the Shield with a large check to partner with a couple of venues for these games. Like the Draft when the games are up for bids, they'll be at a neutral site.
@andrewperloff I'm guessing that is related to Johnson's initial presser. Something like he liked being in the NFC North and going against coaches like KOC, Dan Campbell, & beating LaFluer twice a year.
@JoshPateCFB Remember back when the 12-team playoff was announced and people said, "No one will care about what teams are 11, 12, 13, & 14." Now, expanding the field could dilute the playoff, but the arguments will remain.
@AriWasserman Tomorrow, does Lane sit at a desk with a Florida, LSU, & Ole Miss visors in front of him? Like a recruit picking a school in the old days
@ProFootballTalk For me, hitting 59 was more of a downer because 60 was next. When 60 hit, it was "oh well, it's here". Early Happy Birthday & I look kind of looking forward to the Simmsism to mark the day
@NicoleAuerbach Team Nico may already have an "inquiry" from another collective, and they wanted to see if Tenn would match. Like they say it's just business.
@ChrisVannini It is funny. When the initial idea of the 12-team playoff was floated to the public, the thought was no one would care who was 12, 13, 14, or 15. How quickly we changed our minds. ๐คฃ
Listening to @andystaples@AriWasserman talk about the college QB market & saw the Matt Sluka news. As they said "a lot of moving parts in these decisions". If the rumors are true, it's fascinating where he goes. When he comments, do we say "Yeah, that does make sense."
