@KPCCKarnataka General Secretary S. Manohar has alleged that those who projected themselves as protectors of Lord Ram and sought public support in the name of faith have betrayed the trust of devotees by allowing corruption linked to the donation funds of the Ayodhya Ram Temple.

Calling the allegations deeply disturbing, @SManoharCONG urged citizens to remain vigilant against attempts to exploit religion, caste and faith for political gain. He said any misuse or misappropriation of public donations made in the name of Lord Ram is condemnable and amounts to a breach of the faith reposed by millions of devotees.

"Lord Ram symbolises truth, righteousness and justice. His name should never be used to shield corruption or justify the misuse of public trust," Manohar said.

He further alleged that those who benefited politically by invoking Hindutva and the name of Lord Ram were now protecting those accused in the alleged donation fund scandal. He called for a transparent investigation and urged that anyone found guilty, irrespective of political affiliation, should be brought to justice.

"Civil society must remain alert and ensure that religion is never exploited for political interests or used to protect corruption. Those who misuse faith for political gain must be held accountable," he added.
