4 years ago today, (twitterless) Neil Everett had the idea to have the researcher (me) do the Knicks highlight on SC in honor of me moving on to #TheJump. He & @stanverrett were very good to me & allowed me to live out a dream that day. This is a great memory & I appreciate them.
It’s so nasty all the NEGATIVE things I’m seeing people say about Jaylen Brown!!! I don’t care how yall talk about bros game, it’s all opinion based anyway! Please stay away from talking about the PERSON and his character!!!! He’s real as they come! Don’t get it twisted people
NBA sources believe Jaylen Brown thinks he’s the smartest person in the room, per @colincowherd
“I had two NBA sources … two people in the league, one an executive, one a scout, say that Jaylen Brown has — it’s a disease. He suddenly thinks he’s the smartest guy in every room he’s in … You make a lot of money, suddenly you’re absolutely sure, you don’t wanna listen to your bosses, you don’t wanna listen to consultants, you don’t wanna listen to teammates.”

Barack Obama: “OG, I'm trying to think of a better series from somebody who's never been an All-Star, and I—it's hard to think of one, right?…where through the whole playoffs, he was like just a rock
“But Brunson...it's the toughness and endurance and mental fortitude of that guy. Like, like you just felt like I'm just gonna keep coming, and I'm not doubting myself, and I'm not gonna let my team doubt myself. And for a second round draft pick—who was a champion, who was a winner—but I think nobody projected that, you know, you didn't see it coming. Even when you compare it to somebody like Steph, who, you know, from Davidson, had the ankle problems, but, you know, he had gone through the tournament, and folks had seen stuff, and I can't think of a lot of other examples of a guy who…6’1”…for him to just be able to just go at it.
“So it's a cliche, but that dude has the heart of a champion. You can see just watching him with his dad at the end of the game and kind of what that meant, all the work they must have put in..All those years and all that commitment.
“Real proud of him. And let me tell you, I know he, he never has to pay for a meal again in, in New York…He’s the king of New York, right?”
