A Public Call to Support and Participate in the ESAF Initiative

I call upon the communities of Eastern Somaliland to support and actively participate in the ESAF Initiative (East Somaliland Accountability Forum Initiative), a peaceful civil society platform dedicated to justice, accountability, equal development, and transparent governance.

At a time when many communities continue to demand fair representation, development opportunities, infrastructure investment, and accountable leadership, I believe ESAF represents an important civic voice working for the rights and future of Eastern Somaliland.

One of ESAF’s central priorities is the immediate lifting of the Red Zone and the removal of policies and barriers that negatively affect equal opportunity, movement, economic growth, development, and civic participation in Eastern Somaliland.

The ESAF Initiative is also advocating for:

- the construction of a modern airport,
- development of an international port,
- expansion of roads and transportation infrastructure,
- administrative decentralization down to village level,
- fair tax reform,
- and greater public accountability and transparency.

In addition, ESAF is working toward humanitarian and community development initiatives focused on:

- healthcare,
- education,
- clean water access,
- youth empowerment,
- and social welfare.

I encourage:

- traditional leaders,
- intellectuals and academics,
- youth,
- women,
- professionals,
- community organizations,
- and all concerned citizens

to participate in and support this peaceful civic movement for justice, equal rights, accountability, and sustainable development in Eastern Somaliland.

Meaningful progress can only be achieved through unity, civic participation, peaceful advocacy, and collective responsibility.
