119 UK Parliamentarians call for further sanctions on Israel and a total ban on all trade and interaction with illegal Israeli settlements in letter to @YvetteCooperMP following yet further illegal Israeli gov measures in the occupied State of Palestine. https://t.co/Oi1vexXMH1
The government’s decision to renew settlement of land title proceedings in the West Bank is a major shift in Israel’s control over the occupied territory, advancing annexation without public scrutiny. This is an irreversible measure that will severely harm Palestinians’ rights to their land and property, in grave violation of international law.
Just weeks ago, the Israeli High Court dismissed Yesh Din’s petition (joined by Bimkom, ACRI and HaMoked) against the cabinet resolution as “premature”. Now the government is moving to implement the decision on the ground.
Under the conditions Israel intends to apply, this process risks the near-total erasure of Palestinians’ land rights in the West Bank.
At the Munich Security Conference this weekend, I told a hard truth. There is no ceasefire in Gaza. The assault continues. Palestinians continue to die. And Trump is issuing glossy brochures about fake future Gaza real estate deals instead of working to end the war.
An Al Jazeera Arabic Investigation reveals how Israel’s systematic use of internationally prohibited thermal and thermobaric weapons supplied by the US has left no trace of nearly 3,000 Palestinians it killed during its genocidal war on Gaza.

"The president of the International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC), Mirjana Spoljaric Egger, has warned that the destruction in Gaza represents a collapse of all international standards. “What we have seen in Gaza exceeds all legal, ethical, moral and humanitarian norms,” she stated in an interview with Dutch newspaper NRC, this week.
Spoljaric Egger said that Gaza illustrates the rapid deterioration of international humanitarian law. “Gaza may have provided the most tangible evidence of the erosion of international law,” she explained. “I visited Gaza twice within twelve months. The hostilities never stopped. There was not a minute when you didn’t hear gunfire. When your body did not feel the shelling.”
Spoljaric Egger recalled that on her return visit, she no longer recognised the area: “I could no longer orient myself. The first time, individual buildings were attacked. Every neighbourhood was hit, but not completely destroyed. When I returned, nothing was left.”
During the interview, Spoljaric Egger described the killing of 15 ICRC colleagues in Gaza, whose ambulance was struck by Israeli fire. “It was difficult to look at the photos of that event. More than difficult, I couldn’t look at them; I’m devastated. Perhaps also because I saw my colleagues there working during the hostilities. This is something that should never have happened.”
On the legality of the military campaign, Spoljaric Egger said: “We cannot accept warfare that leads to this situation.”
When asked about Israel’s claim of acting in self-defence, she responded: 'That is no excuse for breaking the law. You have the same situation in your national legal system. When someone murders a member of your family, that does not give you the right to kill their family members. That is simply not how it works. It is exactly the same principle.'"

Video shows Palestinian children crying in fear as their school bus is chased by Israeli settlers in an off-road vehicle in the occupied West Bank, where settlers regularly attack Palestinian civilians and property.
62-year-old Najat Emil Jadallah, a Palestinian Christian woman, was brutally assaulted by a group of Israeli settler terrorists in the town of Birzeit in the West Bank. She is now in critical condition, suffering from a skull fracture and fractures in her legs.
Yesterday, Zionist settler thugs attacked the village of Birzeit, near Ramallah. They uprooted trees and deliberately let their flocks loose on Palestinian families’ lands—lands that are not only a source of livelihood, but a source of dignity and rootedness.
When one woman from the village dared to shout at them and confront them, the settlers attacked her. She was attcked and had to be hospitalized and was placed in intensive care. Thank God, today her condition is stable.
When her son and other relatives saw what was happening, they did what any human being would do: they rushed to defend her and pushed the attackers away.
Now here is the real question: What did the Israeli army do? They did not arrest the settlers.
They did not protect the family. They did not stop the attack. Instead, they beat the Palestinians and arrested the son who defended his mother. As of now, we have no news about him.
Let us call this what it is: Zionist terrorism.
The problem is not only the settlers. The problem is the system that empowers them.
The problem is the immunity they enjoy. The problem is the protection they receive from the army. The problem is the ideology that sees Palestinians as disposable, as obstacles, as people without rights.
This is not an isolated incident. This is happening everywhere in the West Bank. Day after day. Village after village. Family after family. Farmers, shepherds, children, elderly people—all are victims of this organized lawlessness.
The family I mentioned happens to be Christian. But let no one think this is about Christians or Muslims. This is about Palestinians. All of us. We are all now exposed. All unprotected. All living under a system where the attacker is shielded and the victim is punished.
This is injustice in its naked, brutal form. A system that protects violent settlers and arrests a son for defending his mother is not a system of law. It is a system of oppression and apartheid.
Lord, have mercy.
I’m standing as a regional candidate for @theSNP at the @ScotParl election & I’m asking members to VOTE for me as No.1 on the list to help turbo charge our campaign. 🏴

Hundreds of Palestinians are being expelled by settler terrorists backed by the state and the IDF. We are not staying silent in the face of the ethnic cleansing. Today, we joined the solidarity rally with Ras ‘Ein al-’Auja in the West Bank.
The UK Government needs to outline precisely what action it is willing to take to hold the Israeli Government accountable for the shortage of aid reaching Gaza.
New aid restrictions in Gaza imposed by the Israeli Government have meant that organisations such as Médecins Sans Frontières and the Norwegian Refugee Council have been either fully or partially denied access, just as the area is hit with freezing temperatures and winter storms.
Footage: Israeli soldiers executing two Palestinians
Today (Thursday), during an Israeli military raid on the city of Jenin in the northern West Bank, soldiers were filmed shooting two Palestinians at point-blank range, killing Yusef ’Asa’sah, 39 years old, and al-Muntaser bel-lah ‘Abdallah, 26 years old. The footage shows the two Palestinians, defined by the military as wanted, being brought out of the building by soldiers and surrendering to them. The soldiers then order them to go back inside and sit on the ground – and then execute them, apparently while posing no threat to the forces.
B’Tselem’s Executive Director, Yuli Novak, said:
“The execution documented today is the result of an accelerated process of dehumanization of Palestinians and the complete abandonment of their lives by the Israeli regime. In Israel, there is no mechanism that acts to stop the killing of Palestinians or is capable of prosecuting those responsible. It is therefore the duty of the international community to end Israel’s impunity and hold accountable those responsible for planning and carrying out its criminal policies against the Palestinian people.”
Since October 2023, Israeli forces and settlers have killed more than 1,000 Palestinians in the West Bank. The perpetrators, whether soldiers or settlers, are granted full impunity by Israel’s legal and law-enforcement systems.
“The most moral army in the world” executing 2 young Palestinian civilians in the street. This wasn’t Gaza… no Hamas. Israel has no need for bogeymen now, they know the world will sit back & do nothing, so now they feel free to openly murder Palestinians wherever, whenever.
Summary Executions in occupied West Bank:
Earlier today, Israeli occupation forces executed two young men after detaining them near #Jenin refugee camp following a military raid in the northern West Bank.
This is a war crime and part of a pattern across the occupied territory. International statements of condemnation are not enough—criminals must be held accountable.

Temporary housing units — the “caravans” — are the only real short-term solution for us to survive the winter.
Yet thousands upon thousands of ready caravans, designated for Gaza, are sitting on the Egyptian side of the border, and the occupation has refused to allow a single one in — not during the ceasefire, and not at any other time.
Tents cannot protect us in winter.
These fabric shelters sit under the sun for months, and by the time winter begins, they are already worn out and falling apart.
So the question remains: where are the sponsors and mediators of this agreement?
Why aren’t they fulfilling their responsibility toward a population that is still living mostly in tents?
