In today's #PMQs Kemi Badenoch attacks Keir Starmer over the Schools Bill

As at every PMQs since she became leader of the opposition, she's short on facts and heavy on innuendo and insult. Which speaks volumes abut how low the Conservative party have sunk and continue to sink

Badenoch says that children's education 'rose up' under the Conservatives

Starmer asks why she instructed her party to vote against a bill that protects children

Badenoch says its not about safeguarding children

Starmer says its about breakfast clubs, affordable school uniform, and safeguarding children

Badenoch says bill cust the pay for 20,000 teachers

Starmer criticises her for spending too much time on social media and points out the bill protects children from abusers

Badenoch says that's nonsense

Starmer repeats how the bill protects children

Badenoch repeats that standards went up under the Conservatives then says that teachers, parents and children are not benefitting from the bill, only Trade Unions

Starmer again explains how the bill helps children needing breakfast clubs, makes school uniforms more affordable, protects children from being taken out of school by abusers

Badenoch insults the Prime Minister saying he needs to get out more

Starmer concludes saying that Labour have to fix the mess the Conservatives left

I now want to look in more detail at Jenrick's nasty propaganda video.
It starts with a few examples of cases to make people angry. But those examples are in fact irrelevant to the case he is trying to make.

Jenrick has been an Immigration minister. He must know that the main problem with illegal or irregular migration is that when a person comes here and claims asylum, they may get it as a bona fide refugee in which case they can stay. That has nothing to do with the ECHR. It is a consequence of our domestic law and the Refugee Convention. He makes no suggestion we should leave it.
For those whose application is refused the main problem is that it is very difficult to return them to their countries of origin which will often not co-operate particularly if documents have been destroyed.
So leaving the ECHR will have minimal impact on the problem he claims to be addressing.

BREAKING: Former Trump official Stephanie Grisham delivers a fiery speech at the DNC and exposes her former boss, revealing that Trump "mocks his supporters" behind closed doors — before spilling the beans on Melania.

And Grisham was just getting started...

"I wasn't just a Trump supporter, I was a true believer. I was one of his closest advisors. The Trump family became my family," said Grisham. "I spent Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas, and New Year's all at Mar-a-Lago."

"He used to tell me 'it doesn't matter what you say Stephanie, say it enough and people will believe you.' But it does matter," said Grisham. "What you say matters and what you don't say matters."

"On January 6th I asked Melania if we could at least tweet 'that while peaceful protest is the right of every American, there's no place for lawlessness or violence.' She replied with one word: 'No," said Grisham.

"I became the first senior staffer to resign that day," said Grisham to a round of enthusiastic applause. "I couldn't be part of the insanity any longer."

America is done with Donald Trump. It's time to move towards a brighter future for all of us. By electing Kamala Harris, we can save this country from any more insanity.
