Which is harder to write convincingly: a hero or a villain?

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

What is one thing you would do differently if you were starting your writing journey today?

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

Should authors write to please their readers or challenge their thinking?

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

Do you think every experience in life has the potential to become a story?

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@TradManinOK64 Classic historical eras combined with fantasy make for the best world-building!

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

What kind of book do you enjoy reading when you are not writing?

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@samuelcox87 Smart strategy! Standalones are much easier to manage while keeping your main writing brain clear.

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@ElPerroEnLlamas Now that is an wonderfully eclectic list! Paleontology alongside rock biographies and folk horror is top tier.

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@Quotecenter1 Nothing beats going straight to the source! Primary sources build the best foundation for great stories.

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@GrizzFM_16 Rotating genres is key to keeping reading fresh and avoiding burnout. Great selection!

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@AlanLampeAuthor Tackling the oldest TBR books is so satisfying! Way to conquer the reading backlog.

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@HaydonKathryn Time-slip and historical fiction are so immersive! It’s like traveling without leaving your chair.

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@4Life_Comics That’s a great mix! Thrillers and comics are amazing for staying hooked and pacing inspiration.

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@Tammy_Gibaud Ain't that the truth! Switching or fixing POV slips midway through a draft takes so much focus.

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

What is one thing you know about writing now that you wish you knew when you started?

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@SandraLeeHutt1 Reading widely is definitely one of the best ways to discover your own unique voice as a writer!

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@LockersSocial That’s such a great way to put it! The second draft is truly where the magic happens.

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@4Life_Comics So true! Focus on quality and flow over trying to force a specific word count.

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@SandraLeeHutt1 Exactly! Digital platforms give books a long shelf life, meaning a story can find its audience years after it's published.

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

Can a book be successful even if it doesn't sell many copies?

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@amery_1 That Terry Pratchett fact is such a great reminder! Even legendary authors started with slow numbers and unsold copies.

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@Letters4theLord Short, sweet, and completely true! Success means something different to every writer.

[SOOP @SOOPLLC]

@kingofalmost Holding a physical copy of something you wrote is an unmatched feeling. Sales come and go, but the book is forever!
