@kenkunde1 @PanyakoSeth @PanyakoSeth there reaches a time that Unions stand strong for their members where bsc Nurses interns are members for they contribute to the union through deductions from their salary. Speak out for your word is needed for the sake of the peace of mind of hundreds of NOIs.

FYI,
We Nursing Interns are not asking the govt @MOH_Kenya for an exra pay or increased Allowances. We only want them to adhere to the nursing scheme of service adopted by @PSCKenya

Nursing interns are the backbone of service delivery in public hospitals. Interns are not students and even their shifts are similar to those of qualified nurses. If @CSna

Calling the nursing fraternity to action, our dedication knows no bounds but our voices must be heard. In solidarity we are an indomitable force of healing and justice. #IamReadyfortuesday

In the midst of internship remunerations and perenial posting crisis, I am prepared to call out all for tomorrow. Its tough for BscN INterns. Its enshrined in Nursing scheme of service and its legally binding

[Hon. Oteko Simon, BscN. @SOVke12]

@NgalulaDonald We urge the government to consider the laws of the land, and be guided by legal systems and structures put in place to guide remuneration of Medical interns.

[Ngalula @NgalulaDonald]

For clarity,

This was a PSC Circular in 2016 on the Internship policy.

Interns in Medicine, Nursing and Clinical Medicine have been set apart in view of their regulation, duration of internship and job group grading.

Thus, the CS was not factual to compare.

[Hassan sheikh mohamud-HSM @hasajbinsheikh]

1. Stand with junior nursing interns
2. Be 1st to speak of their welfare
3. Motivate them to enrol in the union
4. Be in the frontline in the demos and the media in speaking nurses interest
That's how the union position is fortified and its leaders get the respect @KNUNOFFICIAL
