Today we celebrate a milestone in #firefighter health and safety. For firefighters with #skincancer, new legislation reduces the required duration of service period from 15 to 10 years.
Thank you @fordnation and @ONGov for supporting those who chose to protect us 24/7/365.

There is no other call more challenging to fire ground operations than a Mayday call - the unthinkable moment when a firefighter’s personal #safety is in imminent danger. OPFFA demonstrates Fire Ground Survival training for @MonteMcNaughton#ONpoli#OPFFA2023@IAFFCanada
Kicking off Day 2 with an address from @MonteMcNaughton at the Eric G. Taylor Labour Seminar. A strong supporter of firefighters and ensuring their health & safety (physical & mental) is a priority. #OPFFA2023#ONPoli@IAFFCanada
Our government is helping more women enter the #skilledtrades! 👷♀️🔨 🗜️🧰
Great to attend the graduation ceremony of the Women of Steel Program. Made possible through the Skills Development Fund, in partnership with @FanshaweCollege the @cwb_foundation, & @NorthPerth1.
Today on #NationalDayofMourning we pay our respects to the thousands of workers who have been killed, injured or suffered illness as a result of work-related incidents. Every worker has the right to return home safe and sound at the end of each work day.
We’d like to give a big shout out to Elliott Motors of Stratford and owner Brian Elliott for being an outstanding community partner!! Keep them top of mind this winter season if you need a tow or vehicle service! https://t.co/fE5h5NZqzh
It is Fire Prevention Week and also that time of year when we should check our smoke detectors and replace the batteries. I just did it at my house and I ask you to do it too! Post a picture, tag the fire dept & Juice FM. @SPFFAL534@cityofstratford @1071JuiceFM
A statement from the Ontario Fire Marshal. Please ensure that the fire fighter program you are participating in is delivered from an organization that is permitted to provide training using the credentials that are being advertised. https://t.co/FMVojt6LLC

After a fun filled campaign complete with dedication to physical fitness and great photography by Brilliant Images, the @SPFFAL534 2020 Calendar raised $14,360.33 for @CFCanada in support of research and families affected. Thanks to all our local sponsors and all involved.
We are determined to continue our 53-year tradition of helping to #filltheboot to support Canadians affected by neuromuscular disorders. We’re doing one final call for donations this week. Please help us help them: https://t.co/5c5NCm1ITA
Thanks to a local resident for sharing these photos with us. Sunlight beamed through a window hitting this mirror, the sunlight was reflected onto the nearby combustibles causing the napkins to catch fire. Quick reaction from the home owners prevented it from spreading!
