@LNER @thetrainline @UKGovernmentEng Normal circumstances I would accept these conditions on these sort of tickets. Due to government advice, travel is not advised. Could keep getting charged for amending tickets when I don’t know when able to travel in the future. Thoughts please @MoneySavingExp @MartinSLewis

Problems with getting a refund or help from @thetrainline from@a change in tier status

@LNER @thetrainline @UKGovernmentEng Thank you that is clearer. My other issue is, that if I do amend the booking for a future date, and the covid tier status is still the same or worse, I assume the you have to go through the same process. Rebook, and pay a fee to change again?

So I had booked some train tickets for Saturday and due to the change of tier status from tier 2 to tier 3, travel out of the region was advised against. I called up @thetrainline and was very unclear about refunds or help @UKGovernmentEng @LNER @thetrainline

@fast2host Agreed, this is taking way too long. Never had any such down time before. We need some times, our contracts are with yourselves, not tollhouse, so you really need to get something sorted and a timeframe. People cannot be without their emails for this long, its just not acceptable
