W tym tygodniu odbyliśmy owocne spotkanie z Ministrem Zdrowia Mongolii Dr. Jigjidsuren Chinburenem. Polsce zależy na współpracy z Mongolią w zakresie leków i szkolenia lekarzy.
Remembering a very fruitful meetings with Mongolian counterparts during the visit of @GCessak. We appreciate the cooperation in the pharmaceutical field between Poland and Mongolia.
I had an honor to participate as a speaker in the international conference “Mongolia and the European Union – Perspective of the Polish Presidency in the Council of the European Union”, organized by the Embassy of the Republic of Poland @PLinMongolia in Ulaanbaatar and the National University of Mongolia.
During my presentation, titled “EU Presidency as a tool for strengthening cooperation in health protection”, I highlighted the key role the Presidency of the Council of the European Union plays in shaping EU health policies. I also outlined Poland’s health-related priorities of the Presidency in 2025, including:
🔹 Digital transformation of healthcare – with initiatives such as the planned implementation of electronic product information (ePIL) and the discussion on the harmonisation of the cybersecurity regulations for medical devices across EU Member States,
🔹 Mental health of children and adolescents – a pressing issue that requires coordinated preventive strategies and stronger international cooperation,
🔹 Health promotion and disease prevention – aiming to strengthen public health through the exchange of best practices and effective prevention programs across the EU.
I also emphasized the importance of strengthening the resilience of the EU’s supply chain for medicines, highlighting initiatives such as the creation of the European Critical Medicines Alliance and the implementation of the Critical Medicines Act.
I strongly believe that joint European action, guided by solidarity and shared responsibility, can make a real and lasting impact on the health and safety of our citizens.
During my visit to Mongolia, I had the pleasure of holding two important meetings in Parliament: with Mr. Nyamdavaa Khurelbaatar, Senior Advisor to the President of Mongolia, and with Ms. Zoljargal Jargalsaikhan @Zoloo_Engineer, Member of the State Great Hural (Parliament of Mongolia).
Although these were separate meetings, we addressed shared areas of interest and cooperation, including:
•Mongolian herbal raw materials, including those with monographs in the European Pharmacopoeia,
•Supporting the responsible integration of traditional Mongolian medicine into modern regulatory systems,
•Preventing shortages and deficiencies of medicinal products in Mongolia.
I greatly appreciate the open and forward-looking dialogue with our Mongolian partners. Strengthening cooperation in the field of public health and pharmaceuticals is not only of bilateral importance — it also contributes to building a safer, more resilient global health architecture.
On the 4th of June, together with H.E. Ambassador Krzysztof Bojko and Consul Stefan Hejnowicz @PLinMongolia, I met with Togtmol Munkhsaikhan, Minister of Health of Mongolia. I had the honour of reaffirming Poland’s strong commitment to the Memorandum of Understanding we signed on 13 March 2025 in Warsaw — a milestone that marked the historic visit of the President of Mongolia to Poland.
Our talks focused on:
•Exchanging regulatory knowledge and expertise on medicines and medical devices,
•Improving safety surveillance,
•Responding jointly to global challenges such as medicine shortages,
•Defining quality requirements for herbal pharmaceutical raw materials,
•Recognizing Mongolian herbal raw materials, including those with monographs in the European Pharmacopoeia,
•Supporting the responsible integration of traditional Mongolian medicine into modern regulatory systems,
•Preventing shortages and deficiencies of medicinal products in Mongolia,
•Organizing joint trainings, study visits, and expert dialogues.
It was a great pleasure to welcome Minister Munkhsaikhan earlier this year in Warsaw, and I’m very pleased to be continuing this dialogue here in Mongolia. Our joint efforts matter — not only for our citizens, but also for a stronger global health architecture.

The people of Mongolia voted. Despite brainwashing, intimidation, and cashouts, they chose freedom. The ruling Leninist party's monopoly weakened, and freedom-oriented parties gained ground. Mongolians once again demonstrated their democratic resilience.
Today, #Mongolia is holding its parliamentary election amid growing concerns about the erosion of #democratic norms in the country. In April, the IDU adopted a resolution highlighting the damaging effects the deteriorating geopolitical environment has had on Mongolia’s #democracy and condemning the attempts to delegitimize our members, the @DemocraticMN, as the nation’s official opposition.
The IDU wishes the Democratic Party the best of luck in today’s election. We are convinced that your victory would bring a restoration of Mongolians’ hard-earned freedoms. 🇲🇳
