This evening I finished a new World War I autochrome enhancement for you, which was taken in colour 109 years ago, in the early months of 1916. These are French soldiers on manoeuvres, photographed by Jean-Baptiste Tournassoud. It has such immediacy, one could be forgiven for thinking it was a modern-day re-enactment.
It is original colour (not colourised)

.@ladygaga endorses Kamala Harris: "Today, I'm holding in my heart all the tough, tenacious women who made me who I am. I cast my vote for someone who will be a president for all Americans. Tomorrow, let's make sure all your voices are heard"
A campaign is a team. And this team, which has been working so hard to get Kamala and Tim elected, is special.
Eric is Kamala’s traveling photographer. He’s been on the road for much of the last year, away from his wife and his young daughter Ellora, and he made this beautiful video to tell that story. It’s the same story so many of the staff on a campaign could tell. To all of you: Kamala, Tim, Gwen, and I could not be more grateful.

This is massive. I saw a post by ORWO about color cine film. Checking their website they have NC500 as 35mm color motion picture film in bulk. It’s listed as “sold out” which stinks. However what caught my interest is the film DOES NOT have remjet. That means bulk color film!
Such a strong portrait - the cigar, the pince nez and a penetrating stare - this anonymous subject was photographed via autochrome 109 years ago by Edward Steichen. It was taken in colour in 1915 and isn't colourised.
I don’t have a cat, so a dog will have to do! But like Taylor Swift I’m all in for @KamalaHarris & @Tim_Walz ! #VoteBlue
