@SkylarSkye3 It’s not just Texas, I’m in Georgia USA and twice your age. They hold the door open for me too and the servers call me ma’am at the restaurant. Or sugar if I happen to be at the Waffle House. The South is my favorite place in the USA.
@PJTowns60@atensnut Drinking ages weren’t enforced in some places in the 70s & early 80s. It was a different world. Growing up in my small town you could order pitchers of beer at 16 years old on Friday night at the Pizza Hut. Nobody said a word unless you started acting like a drunken fool.
Lots of salty tears yesterday and today from those that weren’t picked in the Augusta National lottery. I wasn’t either. Imagine being an Augusta native & getting passed over forever & driving down Washington Rd knowing you can’t get in.
@Jimmy_chonga69 Go. I went to the ANWA 2 years ago. It’s the same course, same food, same beer, same gift shops and same merchandise. It’s worth it just to walk the grounds.
