As of 9:00 this morning, we sit at a brisk -21°F here in La Crosse. On the opposite end of the spectrum, the warmest place in the US is Boca Raton, FL, where they sit at a lovely 79°F (a whole 100 degrees warmer). Everyone tell @NWSMiami to share because we're freezing up here 🥶
@tjaybelt However the drive between Tampa and Clearwater beach can be slow. So if you are planning to drive east to Tampa or beyond to Orlando be prepared.
@tjaybelt If you’re looking for a view of the gulf then Clearwater is great. My wife and I always enjoy staying along the hotels with direct access to the beach. The unobstructed view and sunsets are perfect.
#sqlhelp I’m working with SQL Server Snapshot replication. Does anyone out there rename the SQL Agent jobs that are created along with replication to something more friendly/useful? If so what is your naming convention?
@GoodyearBlimp Dropping off donations at the Pompano Beach airship base has become a family tradition. Thank you for the opportunity to get up close with the blimp.
@FlaCatsHistory Renaming stadiums is pointless. No one adopts the new name. I say rename the Panthers stadium to “Sawgrass Center” or “Sunrise Center” and then tack on the ever changing sponsor we all ignore at the end. “Sawgrass Center by Amerant Bank”
@erinstellato Reading the replies I feel power users are under represented. As a DBA the SSMS ui makes it easy for me to assist power users create adhoc queries that might be a bit beyond their tsql abilities. It’s also a great learning tool.

@BuckWoodyMSFT A favorite of mine especially when asked to review/troubleshoot an unfamiliar instance. A lot about the databases can be learned very quickly from OED.
