Today the @FBI and @TheJusticeDept announced the disruption of an ongoing scheme by Hamas to raise funds for terrorist operations and recruit supporters. The FBI seized more than $560,000 in cryptocurrency donations intended for Hamas and disrupted its fundraising and recruitment communication platforms.

Hamas controlled the seized infrastructure and cryptocurrency addresses on behalf of its military wing, the Al Qassam Brigades. The operation was led by @FBIAlbuquerque.
