🚆🌊 The first Floating Train of the season arriving at Bang Sue Junction this morning. It was so long it couldn’t fit alongside the platform. I counted 16 coaches!
How many passengers do you reckon were on board? 700? 1,000? Post your guess in the comments below.
This excursion takes passengers to Pasak Chonlasit Reservoir for the “Floating Train” experience. At this time of year, the water is so high that, along parts of the route, you can look out on either side and see water stretching into the distance. It really does give the impression that the train is floating.
The highlight is a stop on the longest viaduct for around thirty minutes, allowing passengers to get off and take photos above the water.
Have you ever done this trip? There are still tickets available, with departures every weekend until the end of January.
