These Eric Robinson / Joe Gruters voter guides are connected to the same political network behind the MAGA PC voter guides from last cycle. I hear they may be showing up in mailboxes soon.

If someone hands you one at the polls, don’t treat it as a substitute for doing your own research. Follow the money. Read the fine print. Know who is paying for it and who benefits from the recommendations.

This voter guide was paid for by Gulf Coast Conservatives and lists the Venice address of Robinson, Gruters & Roberts. Joe Gruters is a partner at that firm, and the slate is endorsing his wife, Sydney Gruters, for Congress.

That’s something voters deserve to know when evaluating the guide’s independence.

Eric Robinson is widely referred to by critics as the “Prince of Dark Money.” Whether you agree with that label or not, voters should demand transparency about who paid for this guide, who produced it, and who benefits from it.

Do your research. Follow the money. Vote grassroots.
