@ForthValPolice The LLT National Park is trialling a carpark traffic light system to inform visitors before they arrive how full some of the more popular carparks are. If it's during the summer and you're not there by 08:00 it's probably already full. Have a back up walk planned.

@lomondtrossachs Ben Lomond is 974 metres. Each step 6 (15cm) or 7 (17cm) inches (possibly)? So 6.7 or 5.7 steps per metre then 974 x 6.7 or 5.7 equals 6526 or 5552 steps.

@RRMCrawford It's pretty much the same as a really corse grit toilet paper. But one that had a picture of a panda on it. You might think it looks nice, put it's 100% impractical.

Joint sewage systems like these mean that with heavy rainfall both storm water and sewage mix and as a result bypass waste treatment and exit directly into open water. But did you know that sewage is less harmful in open water than milk? https://t.co/Uy1yY9qBA9 via @deadlinenews

Great example of natural flood management, natural in that this is the feature that would naturally occur. Retaining water in uplands reduces flooding downstream, creates habitat and retains water for long enough that sediment and particulates can settle. #NFM #floodmanagement
