Dlls are libraries that a computer program will use and call specific methods etc inside the library. Methods/library calls are basically clusters of code that can do anything whatsoever that you programmed it to do. Anybody with half a brain who is investigating can analyze the dll for changes such as when it was modified last, version number, exact file size etc. It wouldn't be hard to figure out if these dll's we're modified after a certification date with a simple comparison/analysation. Anybody can do this with a little bit of knowledge. I'm not sure why reporters and such do not get on this level of detail with experts. But they don't need to hear from somebody like this they need to hear it from someone who knows what they're talking about, short explanations with a demonstration/screenshots.
