They can't ignore us forever. We're sick of sitting like lame ducks. We need to take action and have our voices heard.
In the year since their friends were killed, the students of Parkland refused to settle for the way things are and marched, organized, and pushed for the way things should be - helping pass meaningful new gun violence laws in states across the country. I'm proud of all of them.

Stop making mass shooters famous @USATODAY
The shooter at MSD literally made a video of himself saying he was going to get famous by shooting up our school before the shooting and you graciously made his dreams come true.

Change IS HAPPENING! However, what direction are those in power taking it? Do you want to see teachers carrying guns? Call your representative and tell them that more guns is not the solution we're looking for! #StudentsForRegulation#NeverAgain#GunReformNow
Young people have helped lead all our great movements. How inspiring to see it again in so many smart, fearless students standing up for their right to be safe; marching and organizing to remake the world as it should be. We've been waiting for you. And we've got your backs.
