Street Roots' board of directors notified the NLRB that it will not voluntarily recognize the Street Roots Workers Guild on Dec. 9, and violated federal labor law by failing to post notice of our election by the end of the day yesterday. 1/

Street Roots' board did not meet our 5 pm deadline for voluntary recognition, but we are ready to work with them any time they are ready. @CWA7901 sent our petition documents to the NLRB today, but we will rescind it if the board recognizes our union voluntarily.
Street Roots staff recently announced their intent to unionize with CWA, with eligible workers voting unanimously in favor of the decision. Staff say they hope to receive voluntary recognition from the social justice nonprofit's board.
