Out of 50 Workshops/PU's in india, 4 are in most Covid prone area (Parel, Matunga, Lower Parel, Mahalaxmi). Are these workshops so necessary to run that the safety of staff and further spread of disease is risked. Is it so critical that the work can't be done in any workshop ?

Permission given by BMC to start Railway Workshops with 33% capacity at Parel(750) and Matunga(2000staff) for essential work only.
But Railway calling 50% staff, planning non-essential work.
