Exposing the lies of a Tangkhul individual who goes by the name Markson Naga. This guy thinks he can fool people in this day and age, when even a 5-year-old can easily Google and verify facts. This is just pathetic. “Meitei blood brothers,” indeed.
@PIBFactCheck@HMOIndia
@NENowNews Let the hostages be released safely. Let them reunite with their families. The Kukis have shown a precedence in Ukhrul by releasing 20 Tangkhuls even though they repaid us with 2 dead bodies. Now is time UNC, NPO take the lead and release our people unharmed.

Families of 14 villagers allegedly abducted from Taphou Kuki Village in Manipur’s Kangpokpi district have intensified their sit-in protest, demanding immediate intervention from both the State and Central governments for the safe release of their relatives.
The protest, which has been continuing for several days, has drawn participation from hundreds of villagers, including women, elderly residents and children. Protesters stated that the agitation would continue until all the hostages are released safely.
Family members expressed concern over what they described as a lack of adequate response from the authorities regarding the incident, which took place on May 13 near the Senapati-Kangpokpi border along National Highway-2.
According to villagers, 25 residents of Taphou Kuki Village were allegedly abducted while returning home from work. They claimed the incident occurred in the presence of security personnel deployed in the area. While some individuals were later released, 14 people, including three students, are still reportedly being held captive.
Families stated that the prolonged absence of the missing villagers has caused severe emotional and financial hardship, as several of those still missing are the sole earning members of their households.
Speaking during the protest, family members appealed to the authorities to take urgent steps to ensure the safe and unconditional release of the remaining hostages. They also urged those responsible for the abduction to release the civilians on humanitarian grounds.
The protesters said they would continue their sit-in agitation until all the missing villagers return home safely.

Can the Meiteis' pursuit of ST status and indigenous identity be anything but a farcical grab for power, when they're already draped in the privileges of SC and OBC reservations? Is it not the height of audacity to equate their historical monarchy with the marginalized tribes they're seeking to join? Do the Kings of England or Thailand demand minority status? The very idea is laughable. And yet, the Meiteis press on, their ethno-nationalist fervor a thinly veiled attempt to subjugate the hill communities, leaving the Nagas and Kuki-Zo with no choice but to fight for their rightful self-determination.

Important: ‘we can now live in peace only as good neighbours, never under same roof again .’ BJP Kuki MLAs memorandum to PM during his visit to Manipur calls for a separate UNION TERRITORY. As does the Kuki-Zo council. Scars of last 28 months run very deep. Manipur remains a badly divided state. Fine words without sense of JUSTICE and EMPATHY not enough. No easy quick fix solutions to festering wounds.
#WATCH | Imphal: Lhari Dorjee Lhatoo, ADGP Manipur Police says "In the intervening night of 13-14 June, search operations were launched in the outskirts of 5 valley districts by joint teams of Manipur Police, CAPF, Army and Assam Rifles. @BenjaminMate1@Bimol_Akoijam Thangting hills is a sacred place for our forefathers before they adopted Christianity. Before 3rd May 2023 Meitei boys and girls visited the place in the name of pilgrimage and had sex, drinks, etc.
@BenjaminMate1@Bimol_Akoijam Dear MP, Don't turn a blind eye to the 360 sacred places of the Kukis desecrated, burnt down or vandalised by your so-called cultural organisation or the radical minions who looted arms and ammunition from State armoury. Sort that first if you are representing your people.
@BenjaminMate1@Bimol_Akoijam Wat abt the Kuki-Zo whose churches were razed to the ground? and the flag of Salai taret hoisted? What was that?
We are not going back to Imphal and they shouldn't come to the hills!
Manipur's inner MP @Bimol_Akoijam and his people should be aware that the Thangting (Thangjin) Hills hold sacred significance for the Kuki community, who have protected these mountains for generations and wish to preserve their environment from harm or trample by the Meiteis.
(𝟑/𝟑) Furthermore, these Organisations can serve as vigilant watchdogs, monitoring the implementation of judicial reforms and holding the #ManipurGovernment accountable for its egregious actions of genocide against the innocent #Kuki civilians since May 3, 2023. By amplifying the voices of their marginalized community and fervently advocating for their rights, the #Kuki Civil Society Organisations can help ensure that their people receive the justice they desperately need and deserve...!!!🆘

The crisis of impartial justice in Manipur is a wake-up call for India, a stark reminder of the dangers of allowing democratic institutions to be hijacked by the interest of ethnic and political supremacists. To preserve India's democratic ethos, judicial neutrality must not be negotiable, nor can it remain vulnerable to the manipulations of those in power. Decisive action against the #Manipur's Judiciary is required to fortify institutional accountability, ensuring that India's Rule of Law remains an unwavering pillar of justice rather than a majoritarian tool of suppression against the minorities such as the #Kukis.
The time for passive observation is over; the time for action is now! The fate of democracy in India hangs in the balance, and it is imperative that immediate action is taken to restore judicial integrity and uphold the Rule of Law. India must ensure that justice is delivered impartially to the #Kuki community and that their rights as a Citizen of India is protected.
As such, we unequivocally demand due justice for 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐇𝐚𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐩, whose fundamental rights and dignity have been brazenly trampled by the #Manipur Government and its Judiciary, under the guise of ethnic marginalization, perpetuating a grave miscarriage of justice...!!!🆘

The path to justice for 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐇𝐚𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐩 and the #Kuki Community requires a courageous and multifaceted approach that tackles the deep-seated systemic vulnerabilities that have enabled blatant bias and egregious injustices against them. It demands an unwavering commitment to institutional reforms, transparency, and accountability within the #Manipur Judiciary, which has callously trampled their fundamental rights and dignity, perpetuating a culture of impunity and silence. We must confront the entrenched interests and vested powers that have compromised the judiciary, allowing them to perpetuate injustice and atrocities against the #Kuki people with impunity. By charting a new course for judicial reform in Manipur, India can restore the shattered trust of the #Kuki Community in its democratic institutions and ensure that justice is delivered impartially, without fear or favor, to all, especially to those who have been brutally suppressed and oppressed like 𝐌𝐚𝐫𝐤 𝐇𝐚𝐨𝐤𝐢𝐩. This is a monumental challenge that requires unshakeable courage, unrelenting conviction, and an uncompromising commitment to the sacrosanct principles of democracy, equality, and the Rule of Law. The future of #Kuki Community's dignity, honor, and very existence hangs in the balance, and the integrity of India's democracy depends on it...!!!🆘

𝐈. 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐫𝐨𝐝𝐮𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧: In the majestic edifice of democracy, the Judiciary stands as a towering pillar, upholding the sacred principles of justice, equality, and fairness. However, the unfolding Drama in #Manipur has exposed a glaring chink in the armor of India's democratic institutions, revealing a disturbing trend of biased justice that threatens to undermine the very foundations of Democracy. The repeated detention of 𝐌𝐀𝐑𝐊 𝐇𝐀𝐎𝐊𝐈𝐏, a prominent figure from the #Kuki Community, has become a symbol of the Judiciary's compromised integrity, sparking widespread outrage and raising profound questions about the Rule of Law in India.

The case of Mark Haokip is a stark illustration of the systemic biases that plague the justice system in Manipur. Despite securing bail, new cases are filed against him, preventing his release in a seemingly endless cycle of judicial harassment. This pattern suggests a deliberate attempt to suppress minority voices and dissenting opinions, undermining the very essence of democratic participation. The contrast with Meitei separatists, who openly advocate for Manipur's secession without facing similar scrutiny, is a jarring reminder of the judiciary's compromised integrity and the selective application of the law.
The judiciary's actions in this case have raised serious concerns about the rule of law and the protection of human rights. The repeated detention of Mark Haokip has become a rallying cry for those demanding justice and accountability. As the case continues to unfold, it is imperative that the judiciary takes steps to restore its integrity and ensure that justice is delivered impartially.
𝐈𝐈𝐈. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐌𝐚𝐧𝐢𝐩𝐮𝐫 𝐉𝐮𝐝𝐢𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐫𝐲'𝐬 𝐁𝐞𝐭𝐫𝐚𝐲𝐚𝐥 𝐨𝐟 𝐓𝐫𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐢𝐧 𝐚 𝐃𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐜𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐜 𝐈𝐧𝐝𝐢𝐚.
The Judiciary's primary function is to uphold the Law and protect the Rights of Citizens, ensuring that #Justice is delivered impartially and without fear or favor. However, in #Manipur, the Judiciary have abandoned its sacred duty, allowing ethnic considerations to influence judicial outcomes in a manner that undermines the principle of equal protection under the Law. This betrayal of trust has far-reaching consequences, eroding the legitimacy of the Judiciary and undermining the Rule of Law.
The Judiciary's failure to deliver impartial justice has also raised questions about its accountability and transparency. The lack of transparency in judicial decision-making has made it difficult to understand the reasoning behind certain judgments including Mark Haokip's case, leading to widespread criticism and mistrust. To restore public trust, the Judiciary must take steps to increase transparency and accountability in its decision-making processes.
𝐈𝐕. 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐂𝐨𝐧𝐬𝐞𝐪𝐮𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐬 𝐨𝐟 𝐁𝐢𝐚𝐬𝐞𝐝 𝐉𝐮𝐬𝐭𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐢𝐧𝐜𝐥𝐮𝐝𝐞 𝐚 𝐆𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐧𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐐𝐮𝐚𝐠𝐦𝐢𝐫𝐞.
The implications of Judicial bias are far-reaching and devastating. It fosters a governance culture where Law enforcement is dictated by ethnic dominance rather than constitutional fidelity, creating a paradigm that is not merely unjust but structurally destabilizing. This entrenchment of fractures within society delegitimizes institutions meant to serve as pillars of democratic equity, eroding trust in the system and undermining the social fabric. The precedent set by such biased justice risks institutionalizing a governance model where legal frameworks become perpetually susceptible to political manipulation, further exacerbating the crisis.

Another long night awaits reporters covering Parliament. Home Minister Amit Shah to seek Rajya Sabha’s approval for imposing President’s Rule in Manipur after discussion on Waqf Amendment Bill ends.

The radicalized Meiteis tarnished the image of Kuki as refugees are not actually refugees, they are repatriated Indian Citizens, who fled into Kabaw valley (Now, in Burma) during 1950s from Ukhrul & Tengnoupal Districts due to Naga Militants (NNC-Tangkhul Region’s) excessive harassment on innocent and an unarmed Kuki civilian Villagers and assassination of Kuki leaders and Chiefs.
Altogether 60 Kuki Chiefs and leaders were assassinated and 46 Kuki villages were uprooted from 1956 to 1988 by Manipuri Naga Militants who later came to be known as National Socialist Council of Nagalim, Isaac-Muivah (NSCN-IM) on 30 April, 1988.
The Government of Burma in the year 1967 conducted Khodawmi Operation to flush out Indian citizens from Burma and sent back all Indian who fled into Burma from Manipur. This repatriation of Indian Citizens from Burma was conducted with the mutual approval of Government of India & Government of Manipur and Government of Burma respectively.
These repatriated Indian citizens were provided reliefs by the Govt of India through Govt of Manipur vide https://t.co/4ocJCrCShT. B-R/DC/1314-6, 6th June, 1968.
However, those original settlers of Kabaw (Kubo) valley were made to stay back in Burma by the Burmese Government. It is also brought herein, to note that there were also Manipuri Naga Indian Citizens who were repatriated refugees in 1967.
The word Repatriated means "returning to their country of origin." Radicalized Meitei should understand each word and utter their narratives carefully.
