At this rate, one Delaware upside is thinking of what this can do for Christian Bliss once UD has more pieces on offense. Bliss, a known passer, has 19 pts (via 5-11 3FG) and could benefit from this "trial by fire" of a load.

An already-comfortable Northridge can seal this by taking the air out of the ball in tempo, but the Matadors don't have reason to do so if they score this well: 47% 3FG, 57% overall.

The Matadors' lead balloons to begin the second. Delaware is in a world of hurt, especially proceeding without Cavan Reilly and Jameel Brown as outside shooting help (really, both primary options if they were on the floor).

Really frustrating first 20 minutes. CSUN’s athleticism controlled Delaware on defense and dissected Delaware’s zone on offense.

CSUN controlling mainly every category but its 14-0 on points off turnovers and 22-10 points in the paint are standing out.

A long half for Delaware sees CSUN shoot 56% from the field. Half of Delaware's 10 made field goals are three-pointers as Christian Bliss is 3-7 beyond the arc.

Bliss leads UD w/ 11 pts and Justyn Fernandez has 8 pts, both on 3-8.

Delaware was a slight home favorite entering this one, but the letdown is on at The Bob. CSUN is getting 9 from Hughes II despite his 0-4 3FG start, while it's Loury matching with 9 of his own on 3-3 3FG.

Unlike the other night at GW, Delaware finds itself having to play from behind extensively today. Threes are falling for UD, though, keeping the score in range against a diverse array of CSUN scorers.
