Evaton Primary School in Gauteng has confirmed the death of three siblings on the school premises yesterday morning.

According to the available information, the incident occurred around 08h00 in the morning when a Grade 4 class teacher took a sick boy learner to the sick bay.

Despite immediate assistance, the learner did not respond.

Emergency services and the learner's mother were promptly contacted.

A distressing development ensued when the learner's sibling, a Grade 3 girl learner, was also brought to the sick bay and mentioned consuming pap, milk, and biscuits at home.

Subsequently, this learner also became unresponsive.

A third sibling, a Grade 5 girl learner, was similarly found unresponsive.

All three learners were quickly transported to a nearby clinic, where they were tragically pronounced dead.

The police are currently investigating the circumstances surrounding this heart-wrenching incident.
