We’re appealing for witnesses after a black Ford Kuga failed to stop for police and was in collision with a man in Mill Lane #Witham.

He was seriously injured.
It happened at 3.35pm today (2 Jan).

Well due off at 6am & finally home at 10am, covered in blood, sweat and urine! thanks to the lovely violent specimen we were trying to help due to injury we were called to. High on drink and drugs & yet again assaulted emergency worker, probationer is ok thanks to quick reflexes

Off duty Saturday & worst accident I’ve had to deal with. Jumped into a smoking car & did what I’d been taught. Fire commander looked me in the eye after & said I done good as did a paramedic & a police officer said I saved a life. Together we did & hope so, thoughts with family
