being a digital nomad with no roots will leave you with an empty life.
and i say that as someone who traveled for 7 years. 27 countries.
every successful expat i know eventually stopped moving and planted somewhere. every single one.
here's why, and how to actually pick the place.
Smart people consider the consequences - and are naturally more afraid.
Dumb people are brave through ignorance.
The rarest combination is intelligence and bravery.
These men are ALWAYS leaders.

Mini review 😊
(Design & Screen)
- This phone is one of the most premium devices I’ve held in the past year. It feels EXPENSIVE. The Mist Blue colour is beautiful and looks MATURE. 🥰
- The screen is CRAZY bright. Not a single time I had a problem trying to read something under strong sunlight. 3000 nits FTW. The BEST screen I’ve tried so far on an $800 phone (and even after a long period of time under the sun, the screen doesn’t dim too much) 🙏
- 120Hz is beautiful. Though Apple’s implementation isn’t the best. Androids handle high refresh rates MUCH better (because they don’t use iOS 26 🤭)
(Camera)
- The camera control is AMAZING. People hate on it online, but in my experience it has been a lifesaver, allowing you to QUICKLY launch the camera by not even looking at your phone. And generally taking photos with it is also very comfortable and convenient. LOVE.
- The 2x “Optical Quality” digital zoom from the main camera is plain ✨bullshit✨. Absolutely nowhere near being actually optical. While my previous Galaxy S25 Edge wasn’t marketed as having 2x optical quality zoom, its 200MP camera did a MUCH better job.
- The cameras in general are just good. I love Apple’s colour profile and the way their algorithms handle colours. In my experience, they are much warmer than what Samsung phones provide and with more vibrant “vibes”. I like it, because every phone feels alive.
(Sound & haptics)
- The speakers are INCREDIBLE. I couldn’t imagine a relatively compact device to provide such a DEEP and VIBRANT sound experience. True FLAGSHIP SOUND. Better than any Samsung I’ve tried 🫶 Haptics are amazing too. Duhhhhh
(Battery & heating)
- This phone almost doesn’t heat up at all. In some cases, it does get quite hot in a specific place (right above the chip), but it’s manageable.
- The battery is amazing. It’s not WOW, but this phone handles 5G and cellular data incredibly well. The battery doesn’t “melt”. 🧈 Around 7 hours of SOT with a hard usage. Holding VERY strong.
- I have yet to experience the fast 40W charging, but even with a slower 20W charger it charges with a good speed. Around 30 mins for 40-50%.
(Software 💔)
- iOS 26 is the WORST part of this phone 😭😭 It’s beautiful, and I’m in love with Liquid Glass aesthetics, but at the moment, there are too many bugs and jitters happening to me all around the UI. I can not comprehend how Apple went from “the most polished” to the “buggiest trash” in software department 💔💔 Samsung’s One Ui 8 is MILES ahead of iOS 26 in terms of stability, features, and consistency.
Overall, this phone can definitely be considered as ONE OF THE BEST VALUE PRODUCTS of 2025. In MY opinion. iOS 26 truly doesn’t let it shine to its FULL potential 😔💔
