That's M23/Twirwaneho territory in eastern DRC. Reportedly all 4 aboard died.
Early fingers point at either Wazalendo (Kinshasa-backed) or Burundian military forces. Shooting down a medevac is a war crime.
Attribution is messy; this conflict has so many armed actors it's basically a alphabet soup of militias.
Humanitarian access just got worse in a place that can't afford it.

@MarioNawfal This is a typical war crime committed by the DRC army, Burundian army, and Wazalendo: shooting down a medical plane, the only means of supplying medicines and food to the Highlands of Minembwe, an isolated area with no roads connecting it to the rest of the country, is GENOCIDE.
