@IanKennedyCK Because of athletes like Michele Emerson, our goalie daughter was able to attend a Silver Stick at about the same age. Very thankful for Michele and those who went through so much adversity during their time, so that changes were made in this sport.
The Maple Leafs Alumni are deeply saddened to learn of the passing of Pat Graham.
Pat played 41 games for the @MapleLeafs during the 1983-84 season.
Our thoughts are with his family and friends at this time.
#LeafsForever
@NHLAlumni Our deepest condolences to his family, friends and loved ones. My family has had the pleasure of interacting with Dr. Pat Graham, through his clinic, for over a decade. His positivity, kindness and patience will be remembered, always. May he rest easy, now.
A pleasure to watch her succeed in the sport of ringette! Her U19AA Burlington team won Gold at the 2026 Ringette Ontario AA Provincial Championships. They will be Team Ontario, representing the province in the Canadian Ringette Championships. 🥅 @RingetteOntario@ringettecanada
Congratulations to Team Black on their 🥉Bronze Medal performance in the sport of Ringette at the #Orillia2026 Ontario Winter Games! Grateful that our goalie daughter had this remarkable experience. Appreciative of all the people who support her.

@ColinDMello Our high school teen, who is normally a grumpy bear in the morning, texted me the screen shot of the school closure. They'll be hibernating today. 🐻❄️
I'd like to wish everyone a Happy New Year and ask anyone who is so inclined to boycott all @Guerlain and @LVMH products until such time as the ongoing elder abuse of Jean-Paul Guerlain is brought to an end.
My reason for doing so is simple enough. Some months ago I contacted Bernard Arnaud, the CEO, who bought Guerlain Perfumes for billions while Jean-Paul Guerlain was at its helm. I asked that he intervene to bring about an end to the atrocious abuse to which the old gentleman is being subjected while under the guardianship of his son Stephane.
What is happening to Jean-Paul Guerlain is about the worst case of elder abuse which is taking place in open sight of everyone anywhere in the world today. He is a prisoner in his home. He is not allowed outside. He does not have a bedroom or bathroom. He has not been allowed to take a shower or bath for years. He has been denied dental treatment for years. Despite being virtually blind since childhood, he has been deprived of the use of his prescription glasses. Both he and his partner of two decades Christina Kragh have been subjected to the most onerous misuse of the law in an ongoing case that would be on the front pages of newspapers all over the world had the news of what is happening not been muzzled by the (largely unspoken but well understood) threat of LVMH pulling advertising from any publication that dares to address this ongoing abuse.
The manipulation of the legal system and the frank disregard for human decency in this case is so appalling that it takes one's breath away.
The only thing that will improve the appalling living conditions of Jean-Paul Guerlain and his partner Christina Kragh is a boycott of all LMVH lines. Only then will Bernard Arnaud use his influence to bring this disgraceful situation to an end by seeing that justice and decency prevail where at the moment injustice and callous elder abuse are the dominating features.
Arnaud's silence, and the silence of the media, are all about money. Only when they feel the pinch in their pockets will they be spurred into doing as they should have from the outset, namely behaving decently and humanely and seeing that an infirm old man and his longstanding partner aren't subjected to further abuse, but are allowed to live out the final years to their lives with the grace and dignity all of us are entitled to.
What none of them seems to realise it that it is likely that one day this scandal will ignite and affect all their reputations. And even if it doesn't, how can anyone with a conscience or scruples knowingly ignore such a disgraceful case of elder (and judicial) abuse?
You can help. Please do. Let us show LVMH and the world that People Power does exist, and it can be used for the Greater Good. All we want is acceptable living conditions for an old gentleman and his consort.
Inform them that you will boycott them. Then do.
Many thanks.
@Devin_Heroux So happy that they had this experience! Hoping they inspire more Filipinos into the sport.
And if the Philippines Women's Curling Team is looking for a future player, we have a 17 yo multi-sport athlete who has recently found the joys of curling. Give her time to develop.
Today, we honour the courage and sacrifice of those who served to defend our freedom, including the many members of the Toronto Police Service.
