Anyone have a theory for why Iran would want to interfere with the Trump campaign? I can only think of four and none of them make much sense:

1) Iran thinks Trump will be more pro-Israel than Harris. I don't think there's much evidence that there's much difference there.

2) Iran thinks Trump will be tougher on Iran than Harris or Iran thinks Trump will be friendlier with Iran's other rivals than Harris. Again, not much evidence of this.

3) Iran just wants to sow chaos in the US. But if so, this doesn't seem like a good choice of ways to do it.

4) It's not Iran at all but some other global actor trying to make us think Iran doesn't want Trump to be president or think Iran is interfering. But, again, who would do that and why would they target Iran?

Am I missing something obvious?
