point is, if you stick around long enough you'll get lucky. but you have to stick around. so don't hyper-gamble your money away.

I rate $RFLX pretty highly as an animation studio.

I’m not talking Pixar or Disney here. I’m not an expert in animation either, so I can only judge it as a viewer.

I assume a lot of what RFLX is producing is AI-assisted or AI-generated. I have no idea exactly how they make it — I’ve never made AI video myself.

But I do have eyes, and I’ve watched a lot of AI-generated video in the trenches.

One thing I notice with most of it is that it often feels like it’s trying very hard to show you what the technology can do.

Flashy scenes. Heavy effects. Close-ups of realistic-looking faces. Short shots. Constant cuts.

Individual frames can look impressive, but the continuity often feels off. You become aware that you’re watching something generated before you ever get absorbed in what it’s actually trying to show you.

Under the Hood feels different to me.

Not because every frame makes me think “holy shit, this is incredible animation.”

It doesn’t.

What stands out is almost the opposite: there are fewer things that pull me out of it.

You don’t always notice when something feels natural. But when something feels unnatural, your eye catches it immediately.

With most AI animation I’ve seen, there are enough of those little moments that I lose interest before I even get to the content.

RFLX gets me past that point.

I can actually watch the episode for the episode.

And I think that distinction matters a lot.

Because making Under the Hood isn’t just generating some cool-looking clips.

Someone has to come up with the series. Write the stories. Build the characters. Give them personalities. Create a world around them. Understand the trenches well enough to put in the little things that degens like us can recognize, relate to and laugh at.

And that’s just the obvious stuff I can think of as an outsider. I’m sure there’s a lot more work behind it.

That’s why I think the animation studio side of $RFLX is being underestimated.

RWA is very likely to be one of the strongest narratives of the next cycle.

Robinhood Chain has a real shot at becoming one of the main chains for that narrative.

And $RFLX is sitting there as a Silicon Valley animation/media studio, native to that ecosystem, while also having the RWA treasury structure layered into the project itself.

Maybe there will be better projects.

There will definitely be better trades.

But in terms of what I personally find most interesting?

$RFLX is at the top of the list.

It’s one of one.
