Even on 0351, Knots is now RDTS (as of today).
As for 0.4.0 upgrade. It is production ready and running great. We highly encourage you to update. I tinvolved flashing a USB stick instead of pushing a button, but every other step of the update guide will be the same, so it's only a few extra minuytes now vs what it will be.
@NostrIsBetter@_MattHill_ Only if your system is constrained. Just make sure Bitcoin is fully synced first, since it RAM usage plummets after completion.
@spleenftw@zoogydoogy@sebp888 Accessing self-hosted Vaultwarden over a private, Tor v3 URL with a good password and 2FA is literally the most secure setup possible.
"I won't take the risk"...
Get outta here dude
@zoogydoogy@spleenftw@sebp888 Accessing Vaultwarden over Tor is 100% secret, secure, and private.
It's also slow and potentially unreliable.
We recommend using a VPN if Tor gives you issues. Super easy to do on StartOS.
@MarkOfBitcoin@bitcoinmackc@LukeDashjr It's a community service and therefore not something we maintain or promote. It was recently updated and is now available on the community registry.
Also, Bitcoin Explorer is on the Communtiy Registry and gives you a detailed UI for your node.
@TheBoozles@YoungBTCato@Ned17Flanders@mattkratter Knots (now with RDTS) and Knots (pre-RDTS) are both on the official Start9 registry for StartOS 0.4.0. You can seamlessly switch between them or any other implementation.
Fwiw @TheBoozles StartOS is Linux, just easier to use and saves time over other diatros.
Specter Wallet 2.0 is now available on the Start9 Registry!
The electrs integration and new UI are 🔥
Nice work @SpecterWallet@SwanBitcoin !

@kryptomicus@Ned17Flanders@cguida6 Yes, for sure. But the updating guide will be exactly the same, except the flashing step will be replaced by updating through the UI.
@Ned17Flanders@kryptomicus@cguida6 040 is production ready, and the new Knots (incl RDTS) is already on the production marketplace. We recommend updating following the official guide: https://t.co/QTvk17A8wK
Only difference later on will be no need to flash update. All the other steps will remain.
@AG3NT_0R4NG3@MaxHodler Never.
The update guide will remain the same. Only difference between flash updating now and in-app updating later is that the former requires one extra step and the latter includes a network request, making it inherently less reliable.
