Great to see the questions on clinical trials from @DenisNaughten.
The sad reality is Ireland has so much work to do just to be at EU level.
Less that 2% of cancer patients have access to trials and for many cancers there are no trial options here.
Last Thursday, @DenisNaughten TD raised critical questions in the Oireachtas about clinical trials, GDPR issues, patient needs, and Ireland's attractiveness as a trial destination.

I was pleased to be quoted by @DenisNaughten TD in his Leaders Questions, which highlighted the unique Irish over-interpretation of GDPR and duplication of tasks, driving clinical trials of life-saving medicines away from our shores. @cancertrials_ie
