Sometimes it’s easier to break a part a set to determine the number. The Kinders look at sets of dots and show how THEY see it using a number sentence. We discovered that there can be many different ways to represent a set.
The Kinders have begun to explore money. We are learning the names and values of coins. Practicing how to print numbers, count, and add is fun while they play at the toy stores they created.
The Kinders were excited to grow their own crystal crosses with Borax and water. It was a lovely mix of science and a beautiful reminder of God’s love for us.
We had so much fun being scientists on Monday and exploring gravity. Helicopters, magic tricks, balancing birds and racing cars! Thank you Melinda at “Scientists in School” for a great virtual visit!
