During his PhD, @Duncanr8_MechE worked on creating a sensor with a soft tip in collaboration with Prof. Homer-V. & Dr @Sariadela_abad. The softness of the sensor tip can be changed by internal air pressure. Visual measurement of the tip deformation allows soft stiffness analysis.
