Mental health days are important.
If you’re depressed, anxious, or even suicidal, you should NOT be required to go to school, work, etc. Just like with any physical illness, you can’t do your best work when you’re not at your best. Take care of yourself first.

Self care isn’t always “cute”. It’s not always face masks and bath bombs. Sometimes it’s just brushing your hair and taking your vitamins and your medication and making sure you’re doing okay.

I experienced them in school and one of the best things in my life after them was college and meeting all new friends who understood me and made me happy. Things can change so fast but you have to be here to see it❤️
