✨ Inauguration of STPI Incubation Facility, Dehradun

Shri Jitin Prasada, Hon’ble Minister of State for Electronics & IT, and Commerce & Industry, Government of India; Shri Ganesh Joshi, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Agriculture & Farmers Welfare and Soldier Welfare, Govt of Uttarakhand; and Shri Pradeep Batra, Hon’ble Cabinet Minister, Transport, IT and Good Governance, Science and Technology, Biotechnology, Govt of Uttarakhand, inaugurated the STPI Incubation Facility at Dehradun, Uttarakhand, in the gracious presence of Shri Arvind Kumar, Director General, STPI, and Dr. Pankaj Kumar Pandey, IT Secretary, Govt. of Uttarakhand. The occasion was marked by ribbon-cutting ceremony and plaque unveiling. 🎉✨

The state-of-the-art incubation facility features 30,000 sq. ft. of incubation infrastructure, Plug & Play seats, semi-furnished incubation space, conference and meeting rooms, an auditorium, a Network Operations Centre (NOC), and a cafeteria.

The facility aims to foster entrepreneurship, create employment opportunities and accelerate technology-led growth in Uttarakhand by supporting startups and IT/ITeS companies. 🚀

🪔Lighting of the Lamp | Inaugural Session

The inaugural session of STPI TECH Conclave on AI for Health & Assistive Technologies commenced with the ceremonial lighting of the lamp, marking the beginning of a conclave dedicated to innovation, collaboration and technological advancement.

Orgaised by STPI and IIT (BHU), the conclave brings together stakeholders from across the innovation ecosystem to explore the role of Artificial Intelligence in transforming healthcare and advancing assistive technologies.

The inaugural session brought together Shri S. Krishnan, Secretary, Ministry of Electronics & Information Technology (MeitY), Government of India; Shri Arvind Kumar, Director General, STPI; Shri Sumit Mahajan, CEO, UP Startup Mission, IT & Electronics Department, Government of Uttar Pradesh; Prof. Amit Patra, Director, IIT (BHU), Varanasi; Dr. Mallika Tiwari, Professor, Department of Oncology, IMS, BHU; and Prof. Manoj Kumar Meshram, Faculty In-Charge, CIIE-IIT (BHU).

Hon’ble Prime Minister of India, Shri Narendra Modi Ji @narendramodi, interacted with Sreyas Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd., an STPI-nurtured startup incubated at STPI FinBlue Centre of Entrepreneurship (CoE), Chennai, highlighting the growing potential of indigenous FinTech innovations and technology-driven solutions. Hon’ble Chief Minister of Tamil Nadu, Shri C. Joseph Vijay @CMOTamilnadu was also the part of this interaction.

During the interaction, the startup showcased its innovative solution, GoldPE | APM, claimed to be the world's first Automated Pawn Machine designed for gold, silver and platinum analysis and loan disbursal.

Sreyas Software Solutions Pvt. Ltd. is a FinTech product development company focused on developing indigenous solutions to transform traditional financial services through technology.
