We apologise to readers who may be unable to buy their usual newspaper this morning.
Overnight printing of The Times was disrupted by Extinction Rebellion — alongside other newspapers.
We are working to get newspapers delivered to retailers as soon as possible.
Ray Wells, The Sunday Times Picture Editor departed yesterday after 31 years. For many years he took staff portraits, a rare one of Ray himself shot by his colleague friend and esteemed #portrait photographer Sally Soames for @STPictures 1993. #picturedesk#newspapers#archive
Ray has literally been taking my picture since I was a 19 year old. In his own unique way (much humour) he helped me settle into my first proper job. Same goes for his great team, Kevin, Annabelle and others. Will be much missed. Sad he no longer wears shirts like this though...
Also leaving are our wonderful Picture Desk manager Denise Brackell. Digital Picture Editor extraordinaire Ben Williamson and World News picture guru Annabelle Whitestone.
