@austin_oerman @Isaac__Trotter I think Lake Charles is special to Will Wade since we gave him a chance. And he was a ray of light for the community while we rebuilt after a devastating hurricane.

Larry Johnson has announced he is returning to #McNeese next season.

A leader when it mattered most.
Thank you, Heath Schroyer, for everything you’ve done for McNeese. Once a Cowboy, always a Cowboy.

Will Wade has purchased the front page of the Lake Charles American Press to Thank Lake Charles and SWLA.

@beerhoseboys @pokes_talk Not excited about losing Heath to LSU but not surprised either. I wouldn’t be mad at being a feeder school for LSU.

Dearest Mother—

I’m coming home. Slaughter a pig, fill the pitchers, and let the band play neck.

Flynn Clayman after High Point’s R64 win: “It's pretty obvious that something needs to be done about this non-conference scheduling... We couldn't get games... If we can get games like this on neutral courts and some home games, I think we'd know who's really the best teams."

[Stacey Thibodeaux @SThibs22]

@SWLAlogo Yep and it’s not like we got totally dominated by Vanderbilt. We were competitive.

[Chaston Tavares @Chaston_Tavares]

Nate Oats is wrong here.

The struggle with being a good mid major team is real. For instance, McNeese has had to play Non-D1s each of the last few years because very few teams will sign on to play them in Lake Charles.

Can’t play everything on the road. Even road games are hard to find at times.

[Stacey Thibodeaux @SThibs22]

@scorbeil1699296 @MiniHoopsAlert McNeese was close. If a few close shots landed we would’ve pulled it off.

[OutKick @Outkick]

LIU got smacked but this dude scoring his only career points in March Madness is a great moment 🥹

To Miami (OH),

Thank you for taking us along for the ride that was this season. Between the fun endings, sticking up for all mid-majors, and showing the NCAA what mid-majors can do, thank you. This has been one of the most exciting seasons a mid-major has ever had.

Go Miami!!

#McNeese’s DJ Richards was asked if he expected Amir Khan to have another moment in this years tournamrnt tournament…

His answer says it all.

I could not be more proud of this kid! What an ABSOLUTE warrior! 3X Champion, 3X NCAA tournament, and a McNeese Graduate. How about we keep this ride going JG? https://t.co/Lb4OG3LSpZ #Legend #geauxpokes
