What is the probable diagnosis & treatment?
@md1talk 1- 🔽 K+ levels.
2- It works in the loop of Henle in the kidneys
3- It can cause metabolic alkalosis
4) ⬆️ doses of associated with hearing loss
5) Bartter syndrome mimics the action of Furosemide, (resembles ⬆️dose furosemide administration)
CTPA pitfall: A streak artifact from the contrast in the SVC (especially from the right-sided injection) can look like a filling defect in the right upper lobar pulmonary artery or the right main pulmonary artery.
This is a common diagnostic pitfall. Be aware of this artifact and don't overall it pulmonary embolism.
